March Grass Farmers Managing Manure: Part 2

March 2018 by Jane & Stuart Myers, Equiculture,

In this 3-Part series, we discuss the different ways horse owners can manage manure in their horse property to reduce pollution, parasites (worms), weeds, labour and costs.

In Part 1 last month, we discussed the pros and cons of picking up manure from the pastures, and we also discussed the dos and don'ts of harrowing.

This month, we look at cross grazing as a beneficial pasture and parasite management strategy.
